1. Your Data, Your Control
At OffLimits, you have full control over your personal data. You can delete specific information directly within the application without removing your entire account. This page describes how to manage your data in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Google Play's Data Safety requirements.
If you wish to delete your entire account instead, please visit our Account Deletion page.
2. In-App Self-Service Data Deletion
You can delete the following types of data directly inside the OffLimits application without contacting support:
2.1 Profile information
Name, age, bio, city, country, relationships, lifestyle, interests, and languages:
2.2 Profile photos
Public profile photos visible to other users:
2.3 Secret Lover profile and photos
Private photos and Secret Lover profile (premium feature). Removing all photos deletes the entire Secret Lover profile from our servers:
2.4 Chat messages
Individual chat conversations with other users. Unmatching deletes the entire conversation history with that user from both sides:
2.5 Likes and matches
Unmatch a user from your active matches list. This removes the connection and all related conversation history:
3. Email Requests for Other Data
If you need to delete data that cannot be edited directly inside the app, or if you have any other privacy-related request, please contact our support team:
Email: support@offlimitsdating.com
Subject: "Data Deletion Request"
Body should include:
- Your registered email address used in OffLimits
- A clear description of which data you want deleted
- Reason for the request (optional, helps us assist you faster)
We will process your request within 30 days, in accordance with Article 12 of the GDPR. In rare cases requiring additional verification, we may extend this period by an additional 60 days and will notify you of the reason.
4. If You Cannot Access the App
If you are unable to access the OffLimits application (forgotten password, banned account, lost device, etc.), you can still request data deletion by email:
Email: support@offlimitsdating.com
Subject: "Data Deletion — No App Access"
We will verify your identity using your registered email address and process the request manually. Please allow up to 30 days for identity verification and data removal.
5. Data We Cannot Delete
Some data must be retained even after a deletion request, due to legal, regulatory, or legitimate business obligations:
- Payment transaction records: retained as required by tax and accounting law (in Slovakia, this is typically up to 10 years). These records contain transaction metadata only — not your payment method details, which OffLimits never stores.
- Records of policy violations: if your account was sanctioned for violating our Terms of Service or Child Safety Standards, a non-identifiable record may be retained to prevent re-registration with the same email.
- Anonymized audit logs: system logs from which all personally identifiable information has been removed.
- Backup snapshots: data may persist in encrypted backup snapshots for up to 30 days after deletion, after which it is permanently overwritten.
6. Your Rights Under GDPR
In addition to deletion, you have the following rights:
- Right of access — request a copy of your personal data
- Right to rectification — correct inaccurate data
- Right to restriction — limit how we process your data
- Right to data portability — receive your data in a portable format
- Right to object — object to certain processing activities
- Right to lodge a complaint — file a complaint with your national data protection authority (in Slovakia: Úrad na ochranu osobných údajov SR)
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at support@offlimitsdating.com.
7. Updates to This Page
We may update these instructions if our application's user interface or data handling procedures change. Material changes will be reflected by an updated "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
